a few hours ago, while walking on the shore of the dam,
my wife pointed to a scene next to the water.
I was not prepared for this photo, and it is no front page photo, but keeping in mind that I had about one second for it,
I’d like to share it with the gang.

An interesting image – I have to think the turtle is feeling just a little out of place. 🙂

The turtle simply ignored the birds, Mike.
In this photos can be seen what really happened.
Somebody fed the birds and the turtle came out of the water and parked itself right on the food for a suntan.

It is a turtle. Went back to the water after lots of irritation from the birds to get the food underneath it. Before it went back into the water, I sent members of a overseas tourist group, whom I met while they have being busy photographing birds, there for some shots.

Thanks Katwoman; remember (!) she observed me decades ago:-)
