Hi all

I’m not sure if this is the right newsgroup, but I did not find one that seemed to suit better. Anyways. I have a Wacom Intuos3 graphics tablet and am having problems with the mouse that came with it. First, sometimes clicks get lost. I click, nothing happens, I click again, now the computer responds. I do not think it’s a problem with the mouse button actually, it seems a problem with the driver. However, I’ve experienced this both when I had the Wacom plugged to a PowerBook G4 and when I had plugged it to a PC.

The second problem is that the mouse would not stay still when I let go of it. It slowly jumps from one pixel to another and back, so when the mouse is lying on the Wacom tablet, the screen saver would never come.

Had anyone had similar problems? Thanks for your replies! Peter

Do you have the latest drivers? Make sure you delete the old drivers first.

What OS are you using?

Thanks for your replies!

I do have the latest drivers. I use Mac OS X 10.4.11 on the PowerBook and Windows Vista on the PC.

I have two studio speakers on my desktop. I am going to try if they cause an interference, but I hope that is not the problem, because I need them for music production.

The speakers aren’t the problem. I took my PowerBook and tried the Wacom in another room, there was no difference, the mouse pointer still keeps skipping. I could not reproduce the problem with the missing clicks, but that does not mean anything as it happens only rarely.
