Hey… I’m going to cut straight to the chase…. I have the artistic ability of a cottonball….

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to make me a beer label for my home brew "Hard Cider"

You may have total artistic freedom except for the name, Captain Kaos – Hard Cider – HTTR Brewery

I would really like the label to reflect the Washington Redskins.

I’d really appreciate any help you can offer.

Thanks in Advance.

Are you willing to pay for the work done for you? Or are you looking for free work?

I dunno, most people won’t mind giving other a helping hand when they can, and that’s what I like about human. But most people don’t just go out to help everyone to get what they want.

IOW, most people won’t mind to help you to LEARN to help yourself, they may not mind to help to improve your work, but most people do mind of what kind of help they may do. And if you don’t have the skill to do, time to learn, mind to try etc.. then it’s very right to hire someone to do it for you.

hand a fish to someone, and he have food for the day;
teach him angling and he have food for life.

That’s a very nice little platitude, but the OP is asking you to give him your rod and reel, and drive him to your favourite fishin’ hole.

In an effort to straighten things out….

I am working on learning some graphics programs, I’m just a little worried that I won’t have the time I need to learn the skills and knowledge I need to meet the dead line on a special occasion that the Cider is being brewed for.

Maybe I am not quite familiar enough with the time involved in doing something like this. I in no way was trying to upset anyone. I apologize if I did.

I would like the label to be roughly 3.5" x 2.5". The home brew is just for family and friends. I have a huge get- together in just a little while and have commited a few cases of my home brew. I typically just let the bottles go naked but seeing as how this is a special occasion I want to dress them up a bit.

Maybe you can find something here, and they even have label templates: http://www.bottleyourbrand.com/shop/LabelBuilder.asp?idProdu ct=369

What size did you want the label to be? Also, will this home brew be kept around the house for yourself and friends, or are you planning on selling it?

Here’s a simple label that I threw together. If the helmets are a bit much, let me know and I’ll change them for something else. If you’d like anything else changed, just holler.
Here’s the link to it.

Thanks a bunch for this label! Looks much better than anything I have come up with using my very limited knowledge of graphics programs.

No problem Noi. If you’d like anything changed, it’ll only take a minute to do, so don’t hesitate to ask. I wasn’t sure if you wanted to use their helmets or just their colors. Since you were going to use the labels for personal use, I didn’t see any harm in using them. If you were going to distribute them, then I wouldn’t have used them….copyright and all that.<g>
I should have asked if there was any motto you wanted on the label…..something like, "If you’re not a Skins fan, gimme back the bottle…" or anything else you might have wanted.<g>
