The problem is it is hard to find work out there for more than $15/hour. With craiglist, any job oppty that comes up gets about 300+ applications. Most employers have no idea what design is; but they know what their lame ass budget is. I am convinced seeking a career in the creative arts now has a 1 in 5000 success rate.

have to agree art jobs are being devalued every day

every office worker thinks they can work Photoshop
and if clients send it to a freelancer in INDIA they can get the work for about $2.00 an hour

Suppose these "workshops" are the only way to make money from art>>teach and charge for it
