Hi,

Ok to start let me say that I am running Windows XP Home Edition and have somewhere around 768 RAM, an 80g Hard Drive that is currently only storing about 12g’s of files. Oh, and a P4/2g processor if that matters.

When I open my Image Ready CS program (either alone or with Photoshop CS) I get the following messages:

First a window that says:

"Could not parse the file contents as a data set. There was not enough memory available."

Then before I even click to close the above message I get a yellow window from the task bar that says:

"Virtual memory minimum too low – Your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory page file. During this process, memory requests for some applications may be denied. For more information, see help."

After sitting for awhile to see what would happen, I clicked the first window to shut it, then got a window with the following message:

"Could not complete this operation. There was not enough memory available."

Then clicking that window to close it, I got the first window again, At that time no matter what I tried, I couldn’t get that window to close, even when trying ctrl/alt/del.

H E L P!!!

Thanks!
Gary

I have no help to this….want to know why?

Because the same thing happened to me today as well!!!

I unfortunately have only 384 MB of RAM, but I’m using the same OS as you and I’m sure it’s Intel Pentium 4 processor which is alright.

Nonetheless I created a PSD and then basically animated it by changing all the layers in each frame.

Total Frames = 384

It’s a clock, for some reason it’s saying it doesn’t have enough memory. I can’t even Optimize to File Size to trim it down some. That won’t work either, yet I can play the FULL animation in the program…it makes no sense. The Image Size is like 300 x 75, so it’s really small.

What is wrong with the program or our systems?

Can anyone help us?

Thanx

Have you tried re-setting the IR prefs? Details in the Forum FAQs

Yes, I tried everything, even resetting the virtual memory and creating a new page file. The only thing that ended up working was to just remove the program from my system then reinstall it. For one reason or another it is working fine now…
