Has anyone found a simple way to export an existing set of keywords/tags from Photoshop CS2 so that the same keyword set can be used in CS3?

You don’t have to do anything. Keyword sets are stored as xmp files, and CS3 should automatically see the ones you’ve created with CS2.

Thanks for that Johan – I agree with what you say. However to tag new photos in CS3 using my old CS2 naming system I have to first rebuild the Keyword sets & keywords in CS3. Is there someway to get around this as it would be quite time consuming (for me)
Why would you have to do that? Like I said: CS3 should simply read the old sets because they are XMP files and they are in a common place, used by both applications.

Where are the XMP files on your system? FWIW, I use keywords and on my home machine there are no XMP files (except a default template for RAW).
XMP data for PS is in the image file except when the XMP data cannot be stored in the image file, or when it is intentionally saved (File – File Info – Advanced – Save.)
