Not sure where to ask this question.
I use Elements 5. When I have a number of layers visible in a medium sized image (3600 x 2800 pixels), let’s say:-
Background
Mask
High Pass
I find that on redrawing on the screen (after say, adjusting the resolution of the high pass filter), only a few blocks of c. 512 x 512* pixels are redrawn in all layers, eg the background is not shown and I get a few blocks showing only the high pass image. There is nothing that I can do about this, saving it reveals (on re-opening) just the visible image.
* I’m not sure if it is exactly 512 sq. but it looks like a bit more than 500 pixels.
I though that it might be a video driver problem, but I would expect that not to be saved in the image.
Using Win XPro on a Dell 3100 with 2Mb memory. This is currently happening on a simple CRT screen in 1280 x 1024.
If anyone can point me to a solution to this problem, I’ll be very grateful!
Mike
