I have an image that I want to use as a start of a webpage. I have set up 5 slices and the first one has the text in the image as CheapChemist (one Word). I have made a simple html file called CheapChemist. It at the moment just has some text there to show that when you click on the first slice the page should go empty with just that text showing. That does not occur. Instead of that I get the URL showing in the slice as file:///C:/CheapChemist.html or just CheapChemist.html.

What I am trying to express is that the Caption of the first slice gives way to some text which is whatever I have put into that space instead of going to another part of the website.

I think I have tried everything but get nowhere. I know it does work when correct as I have had this working before – I just cannot remember how I did it. Must be my age that is letting me down – Please help

Not to worry, I have found the solution and have a way now to click on the slice and bring up a test line of text. From there onwards I simply have to design the pages to be selected – all in order and may be back next weekend
