Hi,
Can someone tell me the benefits of using adjustment layers as opposed to editing on say the copy background layer.
I generally shoot landscapes and the first thing I normally do is to check levels and make any adjustment I feel neede on the background copy layer. Is there any benefit to be gained by using and adjustment layer. Thanks for your time
Eddie

Adjustment layers don’t alter the original image. The settings, when changed, apply to the orignal image, not to a "new" version. They can also be applied to other layers easily without having to repeat all the steps.
