No
Easiest way is to have both files open, then use the move tool to drag one image onto the other. This way you can decide where in the order of layers the new image will go, and you have the opportunity of cropping, rescaling and resolving colour profile issues etc., before dragging across.
Oh no thats bad, thats another feature request. Thanks

what are you babbling about?!! <g>
why would you need to import something you can just copy and paste to do?
I guess that chris the designer ignores the number of parameters that needs to be dealt with: size/resolution, color profile, flattened/unflattened, bit depth, color mode, position, wich document is resized if imported is larger than destination, etc.
Open both images and drag the contents over, or use the place command in CS2.
Try doing this in corel photopaint – you’ll be converted.
Chris t d, click on Chris Cox’s name. I doubt that you’ll be able to convert him 😉
There are many, many things that would convert a photopaint user to Photoshop, like you did…
I clicked it, hes a busy guy. I just think this works better on corels paint package, thats all. If you all are happy.
Chris,
In CS2 the Place command does everything ‘import’ would do…
cs2? I’ll look into that.
