Hi,
I’m working on a Windows XP computer, and I’m using Adobe Photoshop 7.0, Adobe PageMaker 7.0, Distiller 5.0.
I need to import an image into PageMaker. The image is a b&w logo. The logo consists mainly of a big white circle outlined in black, with a transparent background around the circle. The inner white part of the circle doesn’t need to be transparent. I export the image out of Photoshop using the "Export Transparent Image" feature. In Photoshop the image looks the way I need it to look – the logo is B&W, and only the space surrounding the circle is transparent. However, when I import the image into PageMaker, everything that was white is transparent, including the inside of the circle. What am I doing wrong?
Also, if I try to export the document to PDF form, it bombs. (I was hoping the image might look right in PDF form).
I have tried all variations of saving the image in Photoshop. I just don’t know what else to do. Thanks!
