Does anyone know how to disable "auto adjustment" in camera raw?

This has already been asked and answered several times in the relevant forum, the camera raw one…

CTRL+U , then save camera raw defaults, if you want them off for every image.

It’s also a menu option in Camera Raw!

OK but if i choose to save CTRL+U and save it it still opens with camera raw defaults. And if i try and save cam raw defaults it changes to custom…..And every time i open up camera raw the default setting is camera raw???
