We are attempting to build a SATA Raid with new DDR memory and a file server using 300Gig Maxtors with a total size of 2 Terabytes.

The error we get happens when the RAID 5 goes above one terabyte, at which point Photoshop 7 comes up with an error message stating that the disk is full and it cannot save the file.

Mysteriously, with Photoshop 5.5 the file saves work.

Any suggestions on the cause.

Photoshop 7 can not save to drives of one terrabyte or higher. The only fixes are to partition to smaller drives, fill the drive with garbage to bring the free space down or to upgrade to CS2.
