In Windows you can use ctrl-c and ctrl-v to copy and paste, but if you’re left-handed this usually means taking your hand off of the mouse in order to use the keyboard because the keys are on the left end of the keyboard.

If you are left-handed the better way to do this is use use ctrl-insert and shift-insert with your right hand, leaving your left hand free to operate the mouse.

Unfortunately this in NOT supported in Photoshop (and likely in other Adobe products), which makes using copy-paste more awkward/inefficient, and forces left-handed users to lose something that is pretty univerally-supported in other Windows apps.

If you are suggesting a new feature, there is a new features section in the forum (up at the top).

My keyboard has two ctrl and alt keys on opposite sides fo the keyboard. Even my lap top has that.

Is this with CS? Up through photoshop 7.01, Ctl-Ins and Shift-Ins work fine.

I just tried Ctrl and Shift Insert on CS and they copy and paste fine. I have CS and Windows XP.
