Good Day All,

Is anyone aware of a RPF plugin for Photoshop? I found the RLA plugin on the goodies cd, but would realy like to work with the newer file format.

No, I don’t know of an RPF file format plugin.

And, of course, I can’t find any public documentation of the RPF file format — so I can’t do much about supporting it.

RPF is the newer file format which can contain z-depth information for post-processing and compositing.

Honestly, I don’t know the advantages of RPF over RLA, but it seems as though RPF has pretty much replaced the older RLA.

I will look for a better description and post here.

I am assuming that Adobe doesn’t offer an RPF plugin. If anyone knows different or is aware of a third party plugin, please do let me know.

I don’t need a description – I need the file format specification so I can eventually add a file format plugin for RPF.

And I already said I don’t know of any RPF file format plugins (Adobe or otherwise).

Chris,

I’m sorry. No offence was intended. I simply didn’t know who you were.

I will look for the format specification.

Just so you kow, After Effects Pro 6.5 supports the RPF file format.

Sigh. Nice of them to tell me.
Normally they just copy my file format code….
