The splash page is useless. The zillion keywords will get the search engines to skip your site. There’s only one link, to indexation.htm. This page should have a title and explanation.

On the Paris page, I hated the watercolored images. The lighthouse page was a bit better.

There’s no reason to use Flash.

I agree that it would be better to eliminate the splash
page; it really doesn’t serve any purpose.

The zillion keywords will get the search engines
to skip your site.

It’s true that search engines might reduce a page’s ranking if it seems to be using too many keywords (I’ve never
seen an authoritative number on exactly how many you
can use) and if words are repeated over and over, but
you have a few dozen keywords that seem relevant to
your site’s content and don’t repeat over and over (as
far as I can tell). However, it still might be a good idea to reduce the list a little and just keep the most important keywords, just to play it safe.

My biggest concern about the site, though, is that when you click a link you’re taken to a page where a *huge* file loads without any warning; a file that would take several minutes to load if a person is using dialup. It’s much friendlier to your visitors to either 1) warn them that clicking the link will cause a huge file to load, or better yet 2) take them to a page of thumbnails which load quickly, and then they can choose which shots to view full-size.
