Is there a bug or do I have a problem with the Erase and brush tools. After I enlarge the erase tool past a certain point I only have part of a circle. The larger I go the less I have. What’s up?

The largest setting in the options bar is 2500 pixels, and at that point it is still a circle. Don’t know whether it can be made larger than that, but it seems to me that for huge regions a circular brush is less efficient than outlining a region and using edit>clear.

At 310 pixels the circle starts to breakup, meaning I only have part of it. At 400 I have less than half of a circle. Sounds like a problem to me since CS3 doesn’t do it. What do you think? I did a search but can’t seem to find anyone else with this problem.

I recall this was a problem early on. Start with the 11.0.1 cs4 update, http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4292

I also recommend getting the latest video driver and version of DirectX. —

Been through that scenario whilst setting up CS4 on other computers.

Its the video card that needs an update to the latest drivers just installing 11.0.1 does not fix the problem.

For the Nvidia driver. New version just released on July 2 2009 (the previous version corrected the problem as well)

Don’t have the ATI url.
