Recommend Third Party Add-ons Please ?

I am a new Creative suite user (Corel Defector) I would like some EDUCATED suggestions for quality third party add-ons for Photoshop. I am mostly a photography Hobbyist.

If you are new to Photoshop, I would sugest betting use to it before buying add-ons, anything a add-on can do you can do yourself.

but Extensis and Kai power tools are both very good if you want to go that way.

Also jsut applying actions that you can create in photoshop is another way, try looking at www.adobestudioexchange.com/ for lots of free downloads.

I like the Frischluft fLAIR plugins, the 55mm plugins and some of the Flaming Pear plugins are nice.
But i agree with Thee_DarkOverLord, get to know Photoshop a lot better, a reliance on plugins is a dead giveaway to ‘those in the know’!

It depends on what you want to do. If you work with photos a lot:

I don’t have the URL’s on hand, but Google these:

• Neat Image – GREAT for digital noise and sharpening

• Virtual Photographer – Phenominal

• Eye Candy 3 – It’s free and it’s drop shadow is far far better than Photoshop’s own drop shadow.

• FM Tile Tools – I use just three filters from this one, but couldn’t live without it.
