Have printed successfully several years. Now everything is magenta. Sounds like classic double profile problem, but I cannot resolve.

On second computer on network prints success.
Turning profile off ie. in PSCS print space same as source – prints ok. Poor color, but no magenta cast.

It appears Win XP Pro is adding a profile. Is this possible.

Any suggestions.

I have already restored XP to earliest date possible.
Reloaded drivers, applications, etc.

Did you try "no color management"?
Perhaps you need to review your workflow. For me, the setup that works the best is a working space of Adobe RGB and a print space of the profile for whatever paper I am using. I let PS make all of the adjustments. Jim

Sounds like your printer driver is either not set to disable color management or is set to do so but overrides your instruction in error. Maybe try reinstalling the printer driver, using the latest version.

First print a test page from the Printers and Faxes applet in control panel. You’ll want to eliminate PS as a variable and see if it’s a printer/driver issue.

I just went through hell with my 2 year old 1280, and then completely refurbbed it. Now it runs like new.
