Trial Installation – NO Photoshop Icon or Menu Item (PSCS2)

This was not a problem for me and was easily remedied but for a computer newbie, he or she might be confused. Therefore, I am posting so Chris or someone from Adobe can check it out.

Installing the trial version of Photoshop CS2 creates menu choices for ImageReady, Bridge, etc. but does NOT create one for Photoshop. I had to create a shortcut from the Photoshop.exe file. This could confuse new users.

It may be unique to my machine but perhaps not …

EDIT: By the way, I think the new version is awesome. Kudos to Adobe! I have not noticed any sluggishness as posted elsewhere (P4 1.8, 1.5MB RAM, ATI 9800 Pro) and am thrilled to see that the annoying XP Service Pack 2 ‘security’ messages with Help have been fixed. Congratulations on a job well done …
