I have been using PS 7 on my computer,Home ver. XP, with 9000Radion card, 525mg memory, 80m hard drive and it worked just fine for 2 years. One day last week I clicked on shortcut I always use, it went thru loading all it’s files. Then just blanked out , back to my desktop.

I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it every way I know how, even in Safe mode. When I do this , Image Ready will work, but not Photoshop itself.

I am totally lost without it and don’t want to upgrade to later version, as this one works fine for my use.

Can’t find much help for Ver. 7 anymore, so hope someone can give me some advice.

TIA

Dolores

did the delete of Preference file and it works!!!

I forgot that we could do that, was thinking it only could be changed within the program. Have been using PS since the first with a free copy and upgraded ever since. Love it

Thanks do much
