Hi All,
I’m just a keen amateur trying to get to grips with raw processing, using a Nikon D70, PSCS2, and Bridge with ACR3.1.
I downloaded the free Raw Shooters Essentials from <http://www.pixmantec.com/index2.html> to try it out and I am very impressed so far. I find it much easier to use with its various window layouts, and I have found that with ACR 3.1 the TIFF’s produced don’t sometimes appear as they did in the ACR window. The TIFF’s produced by RSE are much better, to my eyes at least, and match the raw window changes very closely.
Has anybody else had this problem with ACR or am I doing something wrong. Any advice gratefully accepted.
I have also tried the free beta of DxO Optics Pro and found it to be very difficult to use, with a painfully slow viewer.
Roger
