I followed Scott Kelby’s information in The Photoshop Book for Digital Photographers, page 40 "Custom Sizes for Photographers" which worked in Photoshop 7. I can’t get it to work in Photoshop CS. Does anyone know how to edit the "Default New Doc Sizes.txt" file to include ready made Landscape sizes, i.e., 5×3, 6×4,7×5, and 10×8 as well as a passport size of 2×2.

File>New>

Set the size and other values, then click the Save Preset Button. You’ll get the opportunity of naming the preset with something meaningful.

This new preset will now appear in the drop down box.

All this does is open a square-ish window in the main Photoshop Screen. Nothing appears in the Crop drop down menu.
