Hi all I just bought the photoshop cs2 upgrade, registered and activated it. I just have a quick question. I had the educational version of photoshop cs1, and I want to know if installing this upgrade made my photoshop a standard license (so that I can legally sell my work and put it online, ect). Please respond ASAP. Thanks

I believe it does. Do you see the educational screen graphic when booting?

You can sell your work legally with the educational version. That license does not have any restrictions of this type.

That said, yes, you can upgrade to a non-education version.

oh i forgot. you have to send me 3 cents for every page hit you get. THEN you’re legal… yea, yea, that’s the ticket! 😉

As I said before (to clarify for others) you can make profits from the educational version as well.

Macromedia has a restriction on using the educational version of their software for commercial purposes, unlike Adobe. That could be a source of confusion.
