Ok, I’ve been trying to install the tryout version of Photoshop CS2, but have had no success so far.

When I launch the installer, it skips past all the usual options (which directory, etc…) and just installs everything right away.

Then, when I try to load-up Photoshop CS2, it says it has to quit because there’s a bad or missing name and serial number. (Of course, it skipped past the trial/register option of the install.)

Further, when I try to uninstall the program, it does no such thing. Instead, it goes through the install process again.

Tried installing it on another machine, and it worked flawlessly.

Any suggestions?

empty out your temp folders. the installer might be picking up something from and old installer.
