Not sure what you mean exactly by looking "polished or shine"
Can you post a link to an example?
I’d suggest Image > Adjustments > Variations
By looking polish and shine, I mean something like gloss o really sharpen. Yeah, I mean extreme sharpen. With the filter sharpen I dont have that much success. I guess the picture is limited.
Laki,
See if the Unsharp Mask suits your purpose better
No, that on worked either. Now I`ve benn cheking out some actions ¡, but dont make a difference really. Now I believe its the format jpg whats limiting the picture quality how it was taken with camera.
There are many tutorials available on various web sites and quite a few printed books that contain methods of what is usually termed ‘extreme’ sharpening. The degree of success of the various methods is highly dependent on a picture’s composition. Some shots are highly amenable to such techniques, others are not. Usually it’s composition and not file format that is the determining factor. You can try LAB sharpening, highpass filter sharpening, LCE sharpening, luminosity sharpening, and probably a few other methods I’ve forgotten to mention and see if those work better for your particular needs in this case.
Laki, do you want to create an image of a picture that would be glossy? creting a layer with some streaks of white color, while the layer is in screen mode, or overlay (play with the blending modes)
Or inside an image, you want to create some highlights? then use the "lens flare" filter, or paint on a layer set in a screen /overlay… blending mode, but on a small area, where the highlight is.
Laki,
What’s the end product for what you are trying to do? Finished prints, website ???? Maybe posting an example of what you are working on with what the end product will be will help get an answer that really will address your problem.
