I’ve shot hundreds of objects on a green background – I need to extract the objects and use in a big (print) montage – and also use the objects in animation using Premiere Pro or After Effects. I can fairly easily extract the objects by various means in PS, but since most of the images are jpegs I’m confused (easily!) as to how to save with transparency for future use! I know jpegs don’t support transparency – do I have to resave each image as a ..psd then delete original etc?
Can anyone suggest a routine to accomplish both jobs quickly – perhaps use Keying in AE or Premiere? – but that seems a bit long winded? TIA
