I’m using PS:CS on a G5 with OS X. I’m printing photos on an Epson pro 4000. I’m using print with preview and selecting center image. Then I’m dragging the image in the sample box to the size I want. The problem is when I print, the borders are uneven. The top and bottom will be the same but the sides will be different, or vice versa. Am I exceeding the unprintable margins? Seems strange becasue I’m making images at 11×17 on a 13×19 sheet of paper. Clearly I’m doing something wrong. Help is much appreciated.

Probably the error is coming because 8.5 x 5.5 and 8.5 x 11 are different ratios. You cannot just scale from one to the other. The same with 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 (for John).

Thanks Don. So just because I have image centered box checked doesn’t mean it will be centered. That is if the image size is a different ratio to the paper size.
