problem with EPS

I try open EPS file in CS2. and I can’t. After size dialog I get alert about error: Parser module cannot parse the file

but in preview photoshop CS all is ok

EPS made by Freehand EPS with Tiff preview.

what a problem?

Roman,

The EPS parser won’t be able to parse ALL EPS files – it’s good, but not that good. There are so many ‘flavours’ of EPS around, not all of them abiding strictly to the EPS specifications.

If you have the full Acrobat Program, try distilling to PDF.

No, I need EPS files. I don’t have time to make PDF and TIFF… bla bla bla. I need make TIFF from EPS quickly.
But in preview version of Photoshop this files opening OK. This files opening bad only in new CS2 Photoshop. Why? What thinks chenged in new photoshop with EPS opening? Or what?

Photoshop is reading the TIFF preview OK but can’t understand the EPS contents of the file.
