Perspective adjustment using crop tool

The crop tool no longer can be used to adjust perspective. Perspective box is checked. Moving corner handles just changes the shape of the crop area. PSCS, Win XP Pro, 1 G ram,

In PhS7 it works perfectly, but only for 8-bit-per-channel. Should it work in CS for 16bpc ?
