Templet for CD/DVD printing

I have recently purchased a Epson Photo R200 printer so I could print on to CD/DVDs. I have not been able to find a photoshop templet for printing on CD/DVDs directly from photoshop. I have attempted to create my own but…well I got it all wrong.

I have looked on both the Epson site and the Adobe site. Has anyone developed a templet or do you have any suggestions. Thanks.

Apparently most people don’t understand the issue with printing to the Epson printer without using its dedicated software.

The problem is not in designing a template that is the size and shape of a CD/DVD. The problem is aligning the image to print exactly in the center of the disc.

I wasted a lot of time and got ink all over my tray before I finally gave up. It would seem that getting the proper margin settings shouldn’t be that difficult. But there’s something unusual in the way the printer processes the image when you use the tray.

If someone who owns an Epson R200 or R300 has figured out how to get the margins and page size correct, please post those details. I would be eternally grateful.

I don’t need generic templates for printing on discs. I need specific information about the settings to use on the Epson with the CD tray.
