CS2 Problems

I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CS2 and have been having problems getting it to work properly. When starting up, it gives me errors about AXEParser.dll and ExtendScriptIDE.dll being missing, Then it says it can’t load FastCoreRuntime module, MMX Core module or Multiprocessor

Go into the preferences and select Adobe updater and then select Never fro the drop down box. It’s a known problem.

No, you’re right. That’s where it used to be in 7 and previous versions. I don’t know where the damn thing is now except that I did once and must have turned it off. Sorry. Maybe someone else can remember. Meantime, kill it by blocking it using your firewall if that’s any help.
