PS-CS Won’t Open

I’ve just upgraded to Photoshop CS and it won’t load. It will get past the loading screen, but then there will be 2 messages saying it can’t open a file format, and I need to re-install it again. I’ve re-installed it many time but it won’t work. Can anyone help? I’ve checked the FAQ also.

My friend gave it to me to burn, so I uploaded everything onto my comp, then installed it.

Hey I OWN a legal copy of CS and a CS2 upgrade and I am having the SAME issue. I posted this in another post yesterday in this forum.

Anyone have any ideas yet?

Yeah, can anyone help us? Please? For me, I’m pretty sure it’s not my Preferences file either.
