I need to provide vector based EPS art to a supplier. I’m using PS 6.0 on a Dell PC. When I select EPS as a file type, there is a place to click to "include vector data" but the option is greyed out. Any suggestions.

Do it in Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or Freehand.

BTW, the reason that’s grayed out is because there’s no vector data in your file. PS will not convert raster data to vector data.

What the other guys said…

Basically, the kind of EPS you save to in Photoshop is not the kind of EPS your supplier is looking for. and you aren’t going to be able to do any kind of simple conversion to get it there.

If you want to try your hand at redrawing it in Illustrator, you could download the free trial and give it a whirl. Be prepared though, it is an entirely different world from Photoshop.
