I have the same problem, I have also posted on this but had no reply
have you guys modified the adobe supplied templates?
I have modified templates and I have not had this problem with CS. In fact I have used the modified template with CS2 and had no problem. this has started happening recently.
so you messed up modifying one. start over. sounds like you deleted a token that ps needs to complete doing it’s thing.
I removed all the gallerysand re installed no effect. What is a "token"
the tokens are those things like: %CAPTIONFONTSIZE% %CAPTIONFONT% %FILENAME% etc.
i’m not sure, but i don’t thing you can add or remove any of those things (the %STUFF%) as the gallery builder thing looks for them and gets confused when it doesn’t see them. you can probably use something like css or an html comment to hide them in the browser though, just don’t remove them.
I again removed all the galleries and re installed CS2 but I still have the same problems. None of the galleries I changed are present on the system only the ones installed by cs2. why do i still get the same message?
I don’t know. have you tried resetting the prefrences as described in the faq? That often clears ps wierdness.
first thing I tried. As others have reported this problem and I have been through all the usual solutions I can only assum that there is some conflict going on with another piece of software, are you and Adobe person Dave?
are you and Adobe person Dave?
nope. just a curious hobbiest. 🙂 sorry.
