Hello,

an artist in my city asked me how he can change photographes into a result like this one:

In my opinion, this must be possible using photoshop 7 but I could not help him any further,

can you?

Thanks in advance

Sara

There´s a few plugins from Andromeda that can do this effect. See Andromeda Screens <http://www.andromeda.com/info/series3.html> and Andromeda Cutline <http://www.andromeda.com/>. Finally, here´s a site with an artist that is a specialist in these effects; <http://www.inkart.com/index.html>

Saraatje,

you may try PhS: Grayscale / Filter / Pixelate / Color Halftone.

This is a screening simulation, using additionally gray instead of black /white alone. Available as well for color images.

Similar to Gernot –

Greyscale – then use a rectangular selection for entire left side of the portrait (or right?) feather by say 150 (this gives the graduation – then try – Filter – sketch – halftone pattern – dot or line (or both)?
