All of a sudden Photoshop CS has started printing everything very dark. It’s as if a color is missing when I print to my Epson RX500. I can create an image in Photoshop and it will print fine from InDesign CS or Adobe Photoshop Album, but printing the file directly from Photoshop will not work. I have been using Photoshop for several years and have never experienced anything like this. Can anyone offer a suggestion? Thank you! – Jim Martinsen

Sounds like a color profile issue. Start by checking your monitor profile and your print settings.

Ho – Thank you, but change what to what and where do I make the changes? Remember, this just started happening. I didn’t change anything to make it happen. I almost wonder if this couldn’t be a graphics card or monitor problem. – Jim

There is a change in the printing routine. Try "Print preview". Select "Color management" instead of Output if you haven’t done that already. Under color handling you can choose if the printer or if Photoshop should do the color management. I have no idea, if this is the course of your issue, but you can try both.

Ole – Thank you! This helps. I will do a little more tweaking and see what happens. Thanks again! – Jim
