Hi, me again… I thought I’d separate the two posts so there would be no confussion.

If I export a PDF out of InDesign and set crop marks, when I open the PDF in Acrobat, the crop marks are there. However, if I open the file in PS, the crop marks are gone! Moreover, PS will not show any bleeds I might have indicated in the file.

This started when I upgraded from PS 7 to CS.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks

Jose

CS will only a PDF based on the crop with an exported PDF. CS2 has added opions for opening PDFs. When opening them in CS2 make sure to choose media box in the crop to option.

In the mean time, you can distill the PDF from InDesign since quality obviously is not paramount anyway.
