I just received my student licensed CS2 premium. Before delving into it, I realize that at this point, all I want, or am interested in, is the parts of it that will help me with my photography. I don’t want to bog down my computer or my mind, with programs that I don’t need at this point. I did a quick check of the FAQ forum at Adobe but couldn’t find an answer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

edit> keyboard shortcuts> menus. select one of the custom color coded menus dealing with digital images.

won’t abridge PS but it will make those menu items you’re likely to use stand out. you can also add your own or remove and save the layout and color scheme as a custom one.

The installer will allow you to install on the programs you want. If all you want is Photoshop, then just choose that.
