How about that for subject line!

I need to simulate a mouse cursor in an After Effects project. I have the "normal" cursor shape, but when you mouse over a hyperlink, you get the (gulp!) finger.

I can’t seem to find that shape in PhotoShop, or in Windows Character Map. I can come close with a WingDing, but it’s not the exact one.

Any suggestions? I’d like it to match exactly, if I can.

Thanks!

Do you mean the mouse-over cursor of the hand with the index finger extended like it’s getting ready to press something?? Google or Yahoo "hand cursor" using the Images Search Engine and I bet you’ll come up with some.

Try a screen capture program that allows you to capture the mouse cursor; here’s a free one I just downloaded and tried:

Or, I can just give you the FINGER <http://www.mustangmods.com/data/8259/pointer.gif> (sorry, couldn’t resist)

Hey Tom…

Just in case you’re interested, I’ve also dumped a whole bunch of cursors and icons from Photoshop 7.0 at the link below.
