Given that you must then import the bit image into Flash or similar authoring program, what are you trying to accomplish? All such programs can already import JPEG, Ping and Gif, so it seems you are looking to add an unneeded step.

Thanks in advance.

Huh? Flash files are generally movies or interactive presentations. You build your Flash using an authoring program–which allows you to import your bitmap images.

But a bitmap image by itself is not a Flash movie.

What is it you are trying to accomplish?

I don’t exactly know what you are going to do with it. Just use the image for a website with flash or something.

You can import a bitmap in flash: file>import

Notice that the quality of bitmaps in flash is very poor. The advise I can give is when you import the bitmap, break it apart (modify>break apart), than convert it to a graphic symbol (modify>convert to symbol).

After that you can drag the graphic symbol from your library to the mainstage and with the best quality you can reach with flash.

Not that I’m aware, but you can certainly import the image itself into Flash, create your movie and then save as .swf…..
