Hi all,

I am new in design, now want to self-learning by the web and some book, I am wonder how to make a icon the effect like the Apple’s web site, here a the example from Apple’s URL

<http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/ichat/>

the top of the ichat icon, it is great, 3D, how to make it by Photoshop or Illustrator?

Sign up for Adobe Exchange (free). There you will find hundreds of styles and actions that do just what you’re after. You can study them to see how they were done, or just use them.

In Photoshop Window>Styles, click on the option key on the styles palette and open the glass button styles

Create a shape, click on the style. Done, lame, but done…

on the adobe site .. in the search box .. type adobe exchange or just exchange .. the URL will come up
