I am running an upgrade version of Photoshop CS. The full version I have goes back to Photoshop 5. I have installed on my machine Photoshop 5, Photoshop 6, Photoshop 7. Can I delete these previous versions as they are taking up space on my hard drive, and if I do delete them will my upgrade version of CS still work once these are deleted? And, how do I delete them safely, through Add/Remove programs in Control Panel in Windows?

Cathy,

Yes, delete from C/Panel > Add/Remove programs, but say ‘No’ to deleting shared files

I’d keep PS7 active if I were you. You never know when it might come in handy to have some form of backup!

I concur. Even though CS 2 for the most part blows me away, there are times when it doesn’t quite act the way it’s supposed to, making that copy of PS7 is invaluable.
