Hi,
I’ve got a serious problem with my Photoshop CS. Everytime I try to start it I don’t even get into the program, I always get the same error and Adobe Photoshop wants to send this error.

That’s the error-message:

AppName: photoshop.exe AppVer: 8.0.1.0 ModName: hpzpm310.dll ModVer: 2.323.0.0 Offset: 00041983

It all started "out of the blue" without an obvious reason, so I re-installed my Windows XP SP1. Everything worked fine for a few days but then it crashed again: I couldn’t start Photoshop!
There seems to be a connection with MS Office and some games. Today I upgraded my old Office XP to Office 2003, everything worked fine until I started a game (Stronghold2) to capture some screenshots, when I left the game to start Photoshop and Word 2003 the error occured again.
The strange thing is that Photoshop, Word and Excel return exactly the same errors! Powerpoint isn’t affected at all, I can use it without any problems.
That’s the error with Word2003:

AppName: winword.exe AppVer: 11.0.6359.0 AppStamp:40c8b025 ModName: hpzpm310.dll ModVer: 2.323.0.0 ModStamp:4047a0bb fDebug: 0 Offset: 00041983

Photoshop worked so perfectly for so many months, but then it crashed for the first time – I don’t know why!
I can’t find anything when I search for the DLL or the Offset of this error-message. Please help me!

i’m not finding much on google … sounds like an hp driver or something… what hp/compaq hardware do you have? system? printer? scanner? etc.

There is a HP-printer connected through the LAN.
(HP 3740)

Thanks for the help so far!

try updating that driver. make sure the driver is XP signed. if it’s not, you need to talk to HP.

Hey, it worked! Thanks a lot!!!
I couldn’t even finish the setup because it couldn’t detect the printer since it’s only connected through the LAN, but it worked!!
Thanks again!
