Greetings,

I have Adobe Creative Suite 2 on Windows XP SP2 and I have a problem with it.

I open many files that where made by someone else in Photoshop (most probably an older version of Photoshop and certanly on mac). Most of the fonts he uses are not installed in my system. In CS1 I used to be able to see the name of the font he used in the Characters Pallete. And then I would find the font and install it. Now for ALMOST all fonts I don’t have installed it shows the font "Myriad Pro". Is this a bug? Does anyone else enounter this? I don’t know if it happens with newer files. The photoshop these where made in is probably PS6 and on OS 8. But in CS1 they where shown correctly. Now i have no way to know what founts he used.

Any ideeas,
Eric

Interesting. I can’t help but if they’ve changed CS2 to default to that font when the font used isn’t present on a system, that’d be a pain in the butt.
