I’m doing this tutorial & its says " I used "Steelfish" font for the followint texts: "Web Design Library"(size 36px, colors #3391B5 and #DC5B01);"

Now I know what 36"point" is but what is 36"px" & how do i access it.

Just type "36px" in the size field it is a font measured in pixels. (You’d do this for the web, not for print)

When I type 36px in the text box it reverts back to 8.7 point

I dont see a size field box so I assume you mean in the tt box for text size were they all say 36 p, 72p etc…

When i insert px it reverts back to some point size automatically

You probably need to change your type units to pixels in the prefs.

If your 36px becomes 8.7 pt, it indicates that your resolution is too high for web work. Change the image>image size resolution to 72 and then px and pt should be identical (i.e., 36px will become 36pt).
