Help!

CS2 won’t go beyond "Reading Text Global Resources". Only default windows fonts installed on the system. Once it went thru’ but it froze after that. What do I do?

Does it mean a reinstall and activation? Aww shucks….!

As far as I remember, the fix for this in CS was to delete New Doc Sizes.psp in: \Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\9.0\Adobe Photoshop CS2 Setting

Maybe worth a try. Keep the old one if you have created custom doc sizes just in case.

Happens to me also, Just wait a few (or many) minutes and the program will eventually start.

Dougleax – that usually means that you have the default printer set to a network printer (which might not be available).

Chris – you are correct! , but the networked printer is available.

But that’s still the most likely cause to make Photoshop hang like that.

Try changing the default printer to a locally connected printer (even PDF Maker or something like that).

YES !!! it was the right god !!!

FINALLY SOMETHING THAT WORKS !!! at least for me 🙂

BEFORE launching PS, please press Ctrl+Alt+Shift keys, hold them and click the PS icon, when prompted to discard your saved prefrences click yes. That should do it!

It launched the PS in a second !!! WOW…. THANKS GOD
