Hi,

I’m using photoshop 7 in WinXP Pro on a GIF file (also have TIFF version) with a transparent background. The GIF file contains a logo with various ‘solid’ colours.

How can I switch (eg. in the solid colour original) one colour to another?

I’ve tried using Image->Adjustments->Replace_color, but can’t get it to do anything. Can’t see
anything on this subject in the help text either.

Any clues anyone?

TIA

Richard

It works perfectly for me in CS. Once the dialogue window is open, just click on the colour you wish to replace in your image, then choose the replacement colour from the bottom of the dialogue window.

Alternatively, you could use Select > Colour Range, click on the colour you wish to replace, then use Edit > Fill to fill the selection with your colour of choice.
