Earlier today I wrote an action that would open the most recently accessed file in PS CS. The recorded key strokes were: ALT+F -> R -> 1
The action seemed to work just fine. However, after manually opening another file, which put it at the top of the Recent Files List (#1) running the action opened the previously opened file, not the most recent. Upon checking within the action, I discovered that the action references the actual file by path and name, not by its position in the Recent File queue.
Is there any way to have the action ALWAYS reference the #1 file in the queue by its placement rather than by the absolute file path and name?
