Hello! When I tried to open and EPS file first Photoshop shone me the rasterizing file option dialog. When I have chosen the format of color and size of the image I pressed ok. Nothing happened. Photoshop handed-up. I opened the system processes and saw that processor was busy on 50% – 53% and the temp file was growing. I waited for half an hour and still no result.
I tested the same operation on other PC and the same result.

How was the EPS created? PS is pretty good at rasterizing EPS files, but it has been known to choke on the occassional file.

Hello Robert!
The EPS file was created in Quark Express 5.0/
Everything worked in PS8.

Do you have Acrobat? Illustrator?

They would both be better choices, anyway.

Rasterizing a Quark EPS has *never* worked properly 100% of the time. I gave up on it years ago, being tired of losing some of the serifs on certain text.

Acrobat, OTOH, is much closer to the "perfect" you’re looking for.

Acrobat, OTOH, is much closer to the "perfect" you’re looking for.

Which would give you a PDF that would be much more likely to open correctly in Photoshop.
